Reproductive Health

Southeastern Idaho Public Health promotes pregnancy preparedness, reproductive health, and healthy behaviors that reduce risks to individual and family health.

Reproductive Health Services Include:
  • Pap smears (cervical cancer screening)
  • Female exams
  • Pelvic exams
  • Breast exams
  • Pregnancy Testing
  • Colposcopy and abnormal pap smear management
  • Vaginal symptoms and infections, and treatment
  • Endometrial biopsy
  • Infertility education and referrals
  • Adolescent sexuality
  • Human Papillomavirus (HPV) counseling and treatment
  • Treatment of pelvic inflammatory disease, bacterial vaginosis, and yeast infections
  • STD Testing and Treatment
  • Male exams
  • Wellness exams
  • Urinary tract infections and treatment
  • Sexual assault follow-up visits
  • Emergency contraception (morning after pill, birth control)
  • Tobacco cessation education

Cost

Fees for these services vary and are based on income and family size using a sliding fee scale.

SIPH accepts most methods of payments such as:
  • Private Insurance
  • Medicaid Individuals with Medicaid do not need a referral from their provider to get birth control at SIPH
  • Credit Card
  • Debit
  • Checks
  • Cash Flexible payment options are available
